Place of minimal access ureteral reimplantation in children

CONCLUSIONS After 5 years of practice, transvesical ureteral reimplantation under pneumovesicoscopy has now been perfected. Its results are similar to classical open surgery but the indications must be selected: children under one year and huge megaureters should be excluded; because of its cosmetic advantage this new technique could have its place in cases of primary VUR in girls, between sub mucosal injection and open surgery.
