Bone-Scan Appearance Of Diastasis Pubis In Association With Congenital Extrophy Of The Bladder

Tc-99m MDP bone imaging demonstrated wide separation of the symphysis pubis and lateral displacement of the pubic bones in a 56-year-old woman with known congenital extrophy of the bladder. This appearance is typical of diastasis pubis and suggests a characteristic scintigraphic pattern. The radiologic appearance has previously been fully described.
