Parallel algorithm designing and application of weighted Voronoi diagram using MapReduce programming mode

According to the complexity and low calculation precision of realizing weighted Voronoi diagram of large-scale data,this paper proposed a parallel raster-based algorithm using Euclidean distance to generate weighted Voronoi diagram based on MapReduce and successfully applied to recommend service,which it characterized by the high precision and could be used to handle points,polylines,polygons and any features.Experimental results show that this algorithm can significantly improve the speed of raster Voronoi diagram when dealing with large-scale raster data and recommend the optimal supermarket of combination factors.
