The clinical characteristics of newborn who suffer from renal tubular acidosis and observation of treatment efficacy

The clinical characteristics of 6 newborns who suffer from renal ftibualar acidosis (RIA) are the systemic symptoms of the newborns with RTA are severe, but not typical. Making an identifical diagnosis of RIA infants is not easy. The RTA should be suspected of those cases with refractory acidosis. They can be diagnosed based on the laboratory data and the effective treatment. This paper dis- . cusses the dose and the pharmacological effect of sodium citrate and patium citrate. It is very necessary to.follow- up the infants with RTA.
