Feasibility Study Of Using Ict Technology To Evaluate Safety Of Explosive Part
PROGRESS IN SAFETY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, VOL 4, PTS A and B(2004)
Abstract
The density compatibility of the explosive part affects the safety and reliability of the part directly. Feasibility of using ICT technology to evaluate the safety of explosive part is studied through detecting the explosive density's inhomogeneous, for some laminations, blow holes and impurities may existing in explosive. In order to prove the feasibility of applying ICT technology to evaluate the safety of explosive parts, a replaced explosive part, which has some precast bugs, is used in the study and detected by a 450Kv, counter-project-convolution X-ray ICT. The result is that ICT technique can find out 0.01mm gap, phi 3 nut, phi 10 blow hole, and some impurities such as black sand and feeler in explosive part. And it also can find out natural crack, which is caused in the production process. The study results show that ICT technology can be used to detect the density's inhomogeneous, and in turn the safety of explosive parts can be evaluated according to the detecting results.
