Study on the high temperature thermal conductivity of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system

摘要
Measured the high temperature thermal conductivity of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 by transient heat-wire method at the temperature from 1100~1600°C, with the dependence of thermal conductivity of molten slags on the temperature and components investigated. It is shown that the thermal conductivity decreases with the increasing temperature. The thermal conductivity also correlates with the degree of polymerization of molten slags, i.e., the thermal conductivity increases with the increasing degree of polymerization as a result of the reduction of component's NBO/T number. When the ratio of mass fraction of CaO to that of AlO1.5 is large, the grid will be destroyed greatly, which results in the decrease in the degree of polymerization, and therefore the thermal conductivity of molten slags keeps almost unchanged.
