Visualization design and simulation for 40 Gb/s optical fiber transmission system

Visualized simulation models for 40 Gb/s optical fiber transmission system with single channel are established based on all-numerical algorithms. The modeling principles and solving methods of the components of the optical device, such as optical source, optical fiber, photodiode and error discrimination are described in detail, and the simulation for prechirped return-to-zero format transmission in the single channel is conducted. The system provides an economical simulation platform with good performance for teaching demonstrations and experiments.
