High driving performance analysis and improving of IPMSM

摘要
In the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) often enters the magnetic saturation, which leads to the variation of inductance, especially for q-axis inductance, so that the current control performance and torque control is already degraded. A motor model with considering the magnetic saturation and control strategy with compensation of magnetic saturation are designed and established in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show that the control system with compensation of magnetic saturation has a good current following performance and a precise torque control performance. This strategy can be used in the full operation region, which meets the requirement of the torque control in the HEV. © 2011 Institute of Electronic and Information Technology.
