摘要

•Molecular surveillance of rotavirus strains in Bangui, Central African Republic 2011–2013.•47% of children under 5years were positive for rotavirus antigen by EIA testing.•The highest detection rates were observed in children less than 5months old (56%).•Different rotavirus strains were co-circulating, 8 G/P combinations identified.
