Origin of circular collapsed landforms in the Chryse region of Mars

•The quasi-circular collapsed landforms of Mars share similar morphology.•We realize a statistical analysis of their morphometric characteristics.•The landforms have a diameter-depth correlation similar to that of impact craters.•The amount of collapse of the landforms is strongly correlated to their diameter.•This interpretation is consistent with a buried sub-ice lake scenario.
