Hydroisomerization and hydrocracking over platinum loaded ZSM-23 catalysts in the presence of sulfur and nitrogen compounds for the dewaxing of diesel fuel

•Hydroconversion in the presence of sulfur and nitrogen compound was investigated.•Pt–Pd bimetallic catalyst shows the improvement of sulfur tolerance.•The addition of magnesium can improve the resistance against nitrogen poisoning.•Pt–Pd–Mg/ZSM-23 can be a promising catalyst for catalytic dewaxing process.
