Results of the Survey about the Use of the SPECT-CT in Bone Pathology in Spain During 2012

During the second trimester of 2014, a survey about the use of SPECT-CT in bone pathology during the year 2012 was sent to all the Nuclear Medicine Departments in France and Spain. It was decided to analyze the 2012 data in order to facilitate the access to the databases. The survey sent to the Spanish hospitals was elaborated by representatives of the Sociedad Espanola de Medicina Nuclear e Imagen Molecular (SEMNIM), and a similar one, elaborated by representatives of the Action concertee en medicine nucleaire (ACOMEN) and Societe francaise de medecine nucleaire et imagerie moleculaire (SFMN) was sent to the French hospitals. The purpose of this survey was to establish the current status and trends of use of the SPECT and specially the SPECT-CT in the two neighboring countries. (C) 2015 Elsevier Masson SAS.
