Abstract
We report that a chiral inorganic compound CrSi exhibits weak ferromagnetism.Temperature dependence of magnetization showed that MnSi exhibited a magnetization anomaly, which is a unique imprint from ferromagnetic to chiral helimagnetic transition, and a experimental evidence of chiral magnetic soliton formation. However CrSi never exhibited the anomaly, but did a ferromagnetic response.Field dependence of magnetization of CrSi showed ferromagnetic spontaneous moments up to 0.2 kOe, and linear increase in larger magnetic field. These behaviors can be interpreted as weak ferromagnetic ordering.
