Measurements Of Hadronic Observables With The Solenoidal Tracker At Rhic

The capabilities of the STAR detector at RHIC regarding the measurement of hadronic observables will be described. Special emphasis will be given to the determination of event-by-event observables. Many of the hadronic particle measurements described in this short document may shed light on the occurance of a phase transition to a plasma phase in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions.
