Design, Fabrication, and Measurement of Dichroic Plates for Deep Space Antennas

摘要
This paper presents the design of two dichroic mirrors intended for application in large-reflector beam-waveguide antennas for deep space observation. The former mirror is a huge screen perforated periodically with rounded crosses, transparent in the X band and reflecting in the S band. The latter is a plate perforated with rounded rectangular holes, transparent in the Ka band and reflecting in the S and X band. The design tool, the fabrication techniques, and the measurement results are discussed.
