摘要
Case studies are commonly used in business and professional education. Reading cases out of a textbook is passive and sometimes draining, due to verbose accounts described in the case. With the advent of the World Wide Web (WWW), an opportunity exists to engage the student in active learning and excitement via web-based case studies. The interactive and multimedia nature of these web-based cases may lead to student enthusiasm and an increased desire to learn. This paper highlights two such case studies that were developed for use on the web by students at George Washington University and Penn State University-Harrisburg.
