摘要
Members of the Geophysical Research Group at Oregon State University have made 225 gravity measurements at key locations in an effort to establish six gravity lines extending eastward from the Oregon coast to beyond the Cascade Mountains. George P. Woollard provided an additional 1785 measurements, and Standard Oil Company of California provided 2900 measurements. The six gravity lines are nearly completed, but some individual stations and ties betwreen stations remain to be checked. A network of 31 gravity base stations has been joined together in Oregon. The base stations are used as gravity control points in the state.
