摘要
This study examined parents' perceptions of the value of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Upward Bound program and their perceptions of their own involvement in the program. Questionnaires were completed by 75% of the total number of parents of the students participating in the summer non-bridge residential component of the program. Overall, parents' responses indicated their beliefs that program participation significantly and positively affected their children's lives and that the program was of great value. Their responses also indicated that they had a high level of involvement in the program and that positive parental outcomes were related to program participation.
