摘要

•CZTSe thin-films were scribed using laser induced material lift-off effect.•We modeled the laser energy coupling in the complex CZTSe structure.•Absorber layer removal was triggered by temperature increase in Mo-CZTSe interface.•Thermal effects were minimized since laser affected film was removed mechanically.•No secondary phase formation of the CZTSe film was detected near the ablation zone.
