Mo1444 Pancreatic Intraductal Endoscopic Lithotripsy: a Comparison of Holmium LASER (HL) to Electrohydraulic (EHL) Fragmentation

Removal of obstructing pancreatic main duct stones (PDS) has been proven beneficial whether the technology employed is surgical, extracorporeal shock wave (ESWL), or endoscopic. EHL was initially reported in small endoscopic series of intraductal lithotripsy (EIL). Although HL has similarly been reported, no comparative data between HL and EHL exists. We report our initial experience with HL compared to EHL for defiant PD stones.
