Sa1489 Clinical Outcomes and Prognostic Factors for Clinical Success of SEMS in Malignant Gastric Outlet Obstruction

Endoscopically inserted self-expandable metal stents (SEMSs) are used to palliate gastric outlet obstruction (GOO). Peritoneal disease was considered a relative contraindication to SEMS insertion. However, the clinical success rate of SEMS in patients of carcinomatosis with ascites has been fully characterized. The aim of our study is to evaluate clinical outcome and predictive factor for clinical success of SEMS in malignant GOO.
