摘要
•Frequency of γH2AX foci in HSPCs was inversely associated with the length of granulocyte telomeres.•The γH2AX foci frequency was not significantly elevated by past radiation.•A negative interaction effect between the radiation dose and of the γH2AX foci frequency was suggested in the proportion of CAFC.•Effect of DNA damage on the self-renewability of HSPCs may be modified by A-bomb radiation exposure.
