Increased Expression of Endocytosis-Related Proteins in Rat Hippocampus Following 10-Day Electroconvulsive Seizure Treatment.

•ECS treatment enhanced hippocampal expression of endocytosis-related proteins.•Expression of scaffolding proteins in the lipid raft was also increased.•Activated membrane trafficking is considered to be induced by multiple ECS treatments.•The neuroplastic profile of ECS treatment should be elucidated in future studies.
