摘要
•A high-fat diet (HFD) induced obese model was developed on Sprague-Dawley rats.•UPLC-Q-TOF-MS based urine metabolomics was studied to understand obesity and obesity-related dysfunction.•Multivariate analysis was performed to differentiate biomarkers with high sensitivity and specificity.•The biomarkers were mainly involved in tryptophan metabolism, phenylalanine metabolism, gut microbiota metabolism and insulin resistance.
