Simultaneous GCaMP6-based Fiber Photometry and Fmri in Rats.

•We developed the method of simultaneously acquiring calcium and BOLD signals in rats.•The method used a genetically encoded calcium indicator, GCaMP6.•The method was validated with a visual stimulation experiment.•Reproducibility of calcium and BOLD responses in the same animal was demonstrated.
