Morphological Analysis of the Dravidian Language Family.

The Dravidian family is one of the mostwidely spoken set of languages in theworld, yet there are very few annotated resourcesavailable to NLP researchers. Toremedy this, we create DravMorph, a corpusannotated for morphological segmentationand part-of-speech. Also, we exploitnovel features and higher-order models toachieve promising results on these corporaon both tasks, beating techniques proposedin the literature by as much as 4 points insegmentation F1.
