摘要
•Rat hepatitis E virus (ratHEV) was detected in Norway and Black rats from Europe.•Nearly all novel sequences cluster in the proposed genotype 1 of ratHEV.•One sequence from Belgium clustered in a rabbit HEV-like genotype 3 clade.•No differences related to low and high density areas, age or sex were evident.
