Predictive Factors of Renal Adaptation After Nephrectomy in Kidney Donors.

•We investigated the predictive factors for the development of CKD and impaired renal adaptation as well as early renal adaptation in kidney donors.•Old age, male, and lower residual kidney CTA volume were associated with early renal adaptation in postdonation.•During the early postoperative period (≤1 month), close monitoring and adequate management are required, especially for donors at risk for impaired renal adaptation.
