A Mpsk Sources Direction Finding Method By Exploiting The Property Of Signal Sources

In this paper, we propose a new direction of arrival (DoA) finding algorithm based on the multiple signal classification (MUSIC) method by exploiting the conjugate symmetry of M-ary phase-shift keying (MPSK) signals. According to the conjugate symmetry, we classify the received vectors into subsets. In each subset, an extended model is constructed to estimate the DoA of incoming signals. The final DoA estimates are obtained by synthesizing the results over all subsets. Simulation results show that our proposed method outperforms the existing ones. In this paper, the proposed method is illustrated with MPSK signals, it can be extended straightforwardly to M-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (MQAM) signals or the mixed cases of both MPSK and MQAM signals.
