Introduction to the Symposium on AI and the Mitigation of Human Error.

In this Symposium, we want to take an existential but rigorous view of AI with its possible applications to mitigate human error, to find anomalies in human operations, and to discover, when, for example, teams have gone awry, whether AI should intercede in the affairs of humans.
