Severe agranulocytosis in a patient with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer treated with nivolumab.

•Nivolumab can cause agranulocytosis, therefore, blood counts should be monitored.•Corticosteroids is the mainstay of therapy in nivolumab induced cytopenias.•Immune-mediated adverse events appear to be T-cell mediated.
