摘要

•A new algorithm for measuring neurite length in two-dimensional immunofluorescence images of neural stem cells is presented.•Individual neurite lengths are associated with individual somas and soma clusters.•An implementation in Matlab of the algorithm including a graphical user interface is available for download.
