摘要

•Arabidopsis LASPO displays two enzyme activities, oxygen-dependent AtLASPO activity and l-aspartate: fumarate oxidoreductase activity.•Arabidopsis LASPO is inhibited by NADH and NADP+ but not NAD+ at physiological concentrations.•Plant LASPO biochemical data suggest a nycthemeral regulation of its activity, as well as an activation by heat stress.
