摘要
•Children with Down syndrome tended to produce fewer verbs and closed-class words.•This tendency could be due to their difficulties with morphology and syntax.•These results suggest that morphosyntactic skills may be involved in verb acquisition.•Results support a noun bias in Spanish-speaking children with DS and those with TD.
