Three very different materials (electrospun degradable ureidopyrimidinone-polycarbonate, electrospun non-degradable polyurethane, and ultra-lightweight polypropylene) were all well tolerated in the sheep vagina and were comparable with native tissue repair. While the biomechanical properties were similar, the inflammatory profiles were different.
