Bedside electromagnetic-guided placement of nasoenteral feeding tubes among critically Ill patients: A single-centre randomized controlled trial

•The EM-guided placement was non-inferior to the endoscopic approach in terms of the total success rate in ICU patients.•The study also revealed that EM-guided feeding tube placement is as fast, safe, and successful as the endoscopic approach.•The study findings revealed that EM-guided group had higher recommendation scores and lesser costs than the endoscopy group.
