摘要

•Following the ACOSOG Z0011 trial, omission of axillary dissection (AD) was recommended for select patients with a positive sentinel node (SN+).•Our data indicate patient age (≥T2) or staging, and surgical treatment choice influence surgeon's decision to perform ALND.•The results of our data support recent publications and indicate the ACOSOG Z0011 trial to be practice-changing.
