摘要
Skin cancer is the most common human malignancy with an ongoing continual increase in global incidence. Despite their high prevalence, keratinocyte carcinomas (KCs), namely basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), are often excluded from population-based cancer registries. As there are over 3000 defined skin disease varieties that can be diagnosed, robust ascertainment methods are needed to capture KC cases for epidemiologic purposes.
