Factors Influencing College Choice and Satisfaction among Students at Christian Colleges and Universities

Despite the trend of many Christian colleges and universities distancing themselves from the influences of their founding denomination, some students still desire to attend institutions that integrate faith and learning. This research uses a survey of students at thirty-one Christian colleges and universities to explore their reasons for choosing to attend their college or university, and whether these reasons are related to students' satisfaction with their college experience. The findings from this analysis are discussed in light of their implications for faith-based colleges and universities who seek to attract students who value the institution's religious identity.
