Design and manufacture of hole sets associated pull modular fixture based on welding tension and compression fatigue test of hollow aluminum

Hollow extrusion aluminum alloy sections are dominant materials for high-speed train cars. Due to size constraints and profile of seal by demanding, cars require the use of MIG welding to connect with each other, while they also need higher standard on weld's fatigue strength, impact toughness and other mechanical performance. In order to test the mechanical properties parameters of weld, we have to obtain them through tension and compression fatigue test, and therefore we need to design fixture installed on the special pull-push machine for clamping test pieces. According to business requirements, we developed a new hole sets associated pull modular fixture to match tension and compression fatigue test of three alien weldments made by this special material.
