Research of Applying GeoSOT Global Subdivision Grids Method on Fast Mosaic of Remote Sensing Data in Large Area

Because remote sensing data are different from types and resolution, there are certain difficulties in retrieval, sharing and mosaic., It leads to lower data utilization rate when acquiring large area remote sensing data with common method of retrieval, sharing and mosaic that based on metadata, This paper presents a fast mosaic method for large area remote sensing data based on GeoS OT global subdivision grids. By building a logical subdivision index mode and subdivision preprocessing of remote sensing data, this method can improve mosaic speed. Through mosaic experiments on Mapping Satellite-1 remote sensing data, this paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
