摘要

•Well-defined Pt NPs were synthesized using new types of thermosensitive polymers.•Optimal TB molar percentage within the side blocks of copolymer is 3mol%.•The morphology of colloidal/supported Pt NPs was determined from TEM micrographs.•The exposed Pt surface area dispersed on TiO2 was estimated by CO chemisorption.•The photocatalytic H2 production rate proved to be sensitive to the Pt NPs size.
