摘要
The paper investigates the impact of electromagnetic pulses on the functional status of the mitochondria in the liver of laboratory mice placed into a shielded TEM-cell. The excited pulses had the following characteristics: full width at half maximum 300 ps, repetition frequency 10 Hz and 1000 Hz and electric field intensity 0.11 kV/cm and 0.17 kV/ cm. The investigation revealed that cellular respiration of the mitochondria after the exposure depends on pulse repetition frequency and electric field intensity. It is demonstrated that exposure mode of 10 Hz, 0.11 kV/cm significantly decreases oxygen consumption by mitochondria. Phosphorylating respiratory rate of the mitochondria after the exposure was 50% lower than respiratory rate of the sham-irradiated mitochondria.
