摘要
With the aid of a simple geometric relation, vehicle positioning by infrared signal-direction discrimination is tested and verified with a receiver comprising four identical planar receiving modules with a simple symmetric structure to determine the coming direction of the signal. In our test, the position of the vehicle can be precisely located in the communication area of a typical infrared short-range vehicle-to-infrastructure communication system.
