摘要

•Sodium salts could enhance the sulfidation of zinc and ZnS particles growth.•The zinc and iron in silicates were liberated from Si-O netlike structures.•Na2CO3 and Na2SO4 reacted with silicates to low melting point minerals.•Na2CO3 addition favored zinc enrichment due to the formation of metallic iron.•Effects of Na2CO3, Na2SO4, and NaCl were in the order: Na2CO3>Na2SO4>NaCl.
