Optimal reconfiguration of electric power distribution systems using exact approach

摘要
The problem of reconfiguration in electrical power distribution systems deals with changes in the network topology using maneuvers switches. This is an optimization problem where one of the goals can be to minimize losses, given constraints such as faults isolation, load feeders balancing and voltage profile improvement. The present paper introduces a new mathematical formulation for such problem aiming to reach optimal configurations that minimize losses. This formulation treats all constraints necessary of this problem in a simple and linear form. There is no need for linearization, thus having an exact model to minimize losses. To validate the proposed model, three case studies found in the literature were tested.
