摘要

•GLT-1 cluster puncta on the processes of stellate astrocytes were downregulated by PPARα agonists.•Dynamin or protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitors prevent PPARα-induced downregulation of membranous GLT-1 protein levels in the astrocytes.•PPARα activation can enhance the endocytosis of GLT-1 in stellate astrocytes.
