摘要
s(MAP) in 56 patients (44.4%).No significant difference in the distribution of AP severity between two groups was found (Table 1).The impact of weekend admission was not significant either for etiology or length of hospitalization (median, 9 vs. 10 days) ( p>0.623 and p> 0.714, respectively).In-hospital mortality rates were not significantly different: 5 (5.1%) vs. 1 (3.7%) for weekday and weekend admissions, respectively (p=1.000).CONCLU-SION: Weekend admission was not associated with increased risk of unfavorable course and outcomes of AP.The results could be positive consequence of implemented guidelines for management of AP of the Polish Pancreatic Club at Department of Gastroenterology, where the study took place.Table 1.Severity, etiology, length of hospitalization and in-hospital mortality of patients admitted with AP, grouped and compared by time of week.
