Su1312 Carcinoembryonic Antigen (Cea) Level in Cyst Fluid of Pancreatic Cyst Has Poor Test Reliability and Should Not Be Used in Categorizing Incidental Pancreatic Cystic Lesions

CEA level in cyst fluid obtained by EUS-FNA has been commonly used to differentiate mucinous cysts with neoplastic potential from non-mucinous cysts with no or minimal risk of malignant transformation. Although recent reports have cast doubt on the usefulness of cyst fluid CEA (Gaddam, 2015; Nakai, 2016), a formal analysis of its test –retest validity on repeat samples has not been reported.
