Triple Band CPW Fed Monopole Leaf Shaped Patch Antenna
The International Journal on Communications Antenna and Propagation(2017)
摘要
In this paper a coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed monopole patch antenna is designed and analyzed with different parametric variation for multiband wireless applications. A leaf shaped patch structure is obtained by combination of a semi elliptical structure cut along the major axis and a planar triangular structure attached with elliptical structure at major axis position, which provide triple band at resonating frequencies of 0.54 GHz, 3.04 GHz and 3.87 GHz with the respective impedance bandwidths (S11u003c -10dB) of 51.78%,11.51% and 10.85% for FR4 substrate and 0.75 GHz, 4.14 GHz and 5.3 GHz with the respective bandwidths of 58.60%, 12.07% and 11.32% for Duroid 5880 substrate which make the antenna suitable for various commercial wireless communication system applications such as Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) and onsite paging including wide area paging in a tuning range of frequency. The proposed structure is optimized for different dimensions of conducting patch and the results are discussed in terms of return loss, radiation pattern and VSWR.
